Aunt Helen introduced me to that "Put a Bird on it" video and since then every time the girls and I see something with a bird on it, we want to take a picture and send it to her. I didn't realize YOU loved birds too. :-) I love the start to your quilt and how it coincides with the completion of a chapter in the book. Great idea! Now I know that when the quilt is finished, I'll have a new book to read. xoxo HA! Your fabrics are wonderful (oh, my goodness..the dictionary print is awesome!), and I love the "put a bird on it" as I am immediately in love with most things that someone has put a bird on. What is it about birds that is so charming?!! I think you should use images of your quilt blocks as headers for each chapter of your book : ) So excited for you to be making your very own quilt!
