I received a comment on my blog recently from a woman who saw my Trip Around the World quilt on Pinterest and loved it.

“I’m on Pinterest??” I thought.

I do have an account but I’ve never pinned anything of mine (silly girl!) so the pin must have come genuinely from a random person who liked my work. I did a quick search for “polkadotsparrow” on Pinterest and found this.

It’s not a bazillion pins or anything, but it makes me happy. It also makes me resolve to posting my photos on Flickr more, as every pin originated there.

An update on this elusive Trip Around the World quilt: I plan to quilt it in November. I have cleared out my “sewing” schedule for this. I need to give it to Izzy for Christmas.

    I know. I’ve been surprised at how many pins come from my blog, too. It’s sort of nice, huh?
